We are grateful for precious last moments with Mim, that we both had real quality time with her this weekend, that she was happy and spent precious time with her extended family on Saturday. We are amazed by the support we received from paramedics, police, doctors and hospital staff who served us well and gave Mim real dignity. We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from our family, friends and church family, especially everyone who has rallied around us to protect and provide for Abby at this time. We are blessed to know how loved and cherished Mim was by so many people, and the extraordinary impact she had in her short life. We are thankful for the kindness and respect of those who knew but have not shared the news on social media, thank you for waiting until we felt able to do so ourselves. We are on our knees in prayer, full of questions and anger, but sustained by our faith and hope in a God who holds Mim now.
